How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

ANYWAY. UH, I've had my laptop back for almost a week now! Sorry for not posting this earlier, it's been an...interesting week. Filled with packing for SCAD and working and ...not having my car almost ever because Katie has it. But yeah! I'm working on art trades, still, but, we just got Netflix this weekend and I've admittedly been very distracted with season 1 of Doctor Who. Now that I have access to all the episodes, I'm treating myself to getting to watch the series, you know, IN ORDER. I was actually up until 4am last night packing and watching the Doctor. ...*stares* ...

The DC reboot has finally kicked off. I have to wait until September 27th to check out Red Hood and the Outlaws, but, I'm not expecting to like it. At all. Especially since they threw half of Roy's history out the window. Wtf guys. You finally give me some Roy/Jason interaction and Roy's ...not even really going to be Roy. ...I hate all of you. Um. Still no word on Cassandra ever returning to the comics as far as I can tell. Still no word about Power Girl, either. DC, don't you want my money? I don't understand.

I don't know how many of you pay attention to my tumblr, but, I've been doing a video challenge if anyone cares. [link] <-- easy link. LISTEN TO ME RANT ABOUT CRAP YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT.

Also, I don't know if anyone's seen my new DA ID, but, it cracks me up. I don't know how many of you will get the joke. >xD Ask if you don't and I'll explain it so you can understand it's absolute brilliance.

I'm gonna try updating Rae's blog tonight...warning: it'll be a long one to try making up for lost time. Sorry about that.

And, um, there was something else I was gonna say. ... not sure what. Basically, I'm just kind of hanging out for this last week in Texas. Gonna try making one more stop by all my comic pick up places to get the second volume of Blue Beetle, possibly the rest of the Power Girl issues (since I don't think they'll be putting #19-27 in trade-form) and maybe some more Outsiders comics because they have a lot of Roy crap going on in them and...I really can't think of anywhere else to read him. And I need to read more Roy stuff...generally I'm just kind of going on with my own head-canon of the man. Because, like my friend Colin said, he and Jason seem to be DC's bitches. Cool characters no one knows what to do with. ....PRETTY MUCH.

But I digress. I have a lot to do before I head back to SCAD. Finishing art trades and getting up art of my own being the top dogs. I think that's all I have to talk about.
