Haha. Because, ya know. Halves joke. I'M CREATIVE.

This is my half of the art trade I'm doing with ~cartoongirl76. She asked for her characters Reflex and Half-Mask. ...the pose just about was my downfall because of the hands...I eventually kind of gave up. <lD ...I'm sorry.

Reflex's hair was really obnoxious to shade, but I think the thing as a whole came out alright. I think I'll be lame and not bother with backgrounds unless I can think of something decent throughout these art trades.

I'd link you to the Keith Urban song by a similar name, but, I feel like a country minority sometimes.

Also, to makes you feel less alone, I like country too!

My summer boss tried to turn me into a redneck. She was unsuccessful, but I DID come away with an uncanny appreciation and hunger for country music!!!! We listened to a lot of Hank Jr...

Anyway, I really like this, especially what you did with Half-Mask's face! You definitely succeeded with those two very opposing expressions. It really shows the conflicting personalities of Arin and M.

As others have said-written-typed-whatever I love the red outline for this one, giving it a really warm almost glow-y feeling. Still experimenting with different coloring styles, or have you found one you prefer?

I'm still kind of messing around. I really like the painting style, and it's actually what I'm more comfortable with. But the cel-shading style is definitely easier for quick-jobs since you can be more flexible with it. Painting can look really bad if you stop half-way. <xD Or at least, in my opinion it does.

I DO, but, in a way I'm kind of glad 'cause it keeps me going. o3o If you want one, just shoot me a comment in my journal.
