1. Draw an image, copy it three times and colour each differently/with different colours. Bonus!: use different media for each.

So I have this "100 Art Techniques" Meme on stand by for when I don't feel like working on things that I'm supposed to be working on. This is the first one (as mentioned above).

I decided to use Phoenix for this because I haven't drawn her yet and I'm always drawing my own characters and for whatever reason that makes me feel...annoying. Anyway! Hope you don't mind me borrowing her Arkham City design, Lue.

The first coloring job was simple and lazy. I just used a real low opacity, took one of the color references on Phoenix and colored it in without any shading and threw a background on it.

The second one is my painting style, more or less. I really, really like painting metal. It is fun. I was lazy again and used the same background. Ahahah.

Third one is the Arkham City poster design. I freaking love the Arkham City poster designs. Black and white with the character's "defining" color showing through. fkdjsfjslf. Just love it. I'm gonna try doing one of Phantom, eventually. Mimic the poster as much as I can.

I think I love all three. But tha third one..whoever thought of that idea had a great brainwave. It makes the character stand out.

As much as you like painting metal, I think you're just as great at it!! :D (Weird grammar there, but I hope you know what I mean.)
